Out and about this weekend

This weekend really made me relize next summer we definitly need to save up some money and buy a air conditioner unit. It was in the 90's Friday and Saturday and our house bakes in the sun. Friday night it was 92 degrees in our house ughh. So when it's hot in the house I like to leave. Friday evening Alivia and I met up with my friend and her little boy at a park in Sumner. We let the kids swing and enjoy the fresh air it was nice. On my way home that night I stopped by Bonney Lake Day's at Alan Yorke Park to see my dad's friend's band perform. It was Alivia's first concert.
Saturday I had a busy day at work which is always nice. I came home and Matt took a nap. Livi and I went grocery shopping. She had her first ever melt down in public. I was stressed I couldn't get out of the store fast enough. I left with maybe 5 items didn't even get what I went there for. She took a nap when we got home then that evening we had a picnic at a new park in Sumner I came across a few weeks ago. We stayed for a few hours and watched the sunset it was so pretty!
Today I took Alivia over to Corinne and Steve's house out on Lake Tapps. I dressed her in her bikini and took her out in the water. She was just floating all over in their lagoon in a floaty boat thing. Here's a bunch of photos enjoy.

4 year anniversary

Yesterday was our 4 year wedding anniversary. Seems like the wedding was yesterday. Crazy how fast time flies and how much you can accomplish in a few short years. Last night my parents watched Livi so Matt and I could go out to dinner. We went to Mama Stortini's in Sumner I love that place! It was so good. Then we caught a midnight movie. It was nice to go out just the two of us. While I was working yesterday afternoon Alivia started clapping. She is also climbing the stairs now. She is everywhere.
We had her 9 month well baby check up today. Here's her stats:

9 months old

Yesterday was Livi's 9 month birthday! Man time is flying by so fast. I was gone Friday night and all day Saturday from 10am - 11pm taking photos for Katie and Jeremy's wedding. I had such a great time and got so many wonderful photos of them. (i'll add a few favorite's to the blog) Saturday was the longest I have ever been away from Livi. It felt so weird! We all took it easy today slept in and hung around the house all day. We deep cleaned everything, picked up pizza and watched movies.

This Thursday is our 4 year wedding anniversary! We're planning on going out to dinner and a movie. It will be nice to go out just the two of us. On Friday we have Alivia's 9 month check up. I'm thinking she'll be hitting up in the 25 lb range so we will see. The last 2 check up's i've only been off by a ounce or two on my guesses. It's been a long week so i'm off to bed have a great week!

2 more teeth

Last Sunday afternoon Livi and I met up with Trina, a mommy from one of my mommy message boards I go on. She's also wanting to start doing photography so we took photos of eachother's babies. I had such a great time. Livi was such a ham and all over the place couldn't get her to sit still. It was fun being able to take photos of another baby besides my own. Plus it was fun to learn a thing or two.
This week Alivia got two more teeth! Now she has both top teeth and bottom teeth. One of her top teeth is longer then the other so she looks alittle goofy i'm sure in no time they will be evening out. She will be 9 months old on Saturday I can't believe it! Ohh while i'm thinking about it one of my friend's had her new baby boy Noah Robert this week 3 months early the little guy is only 1 lb 14 oz so if you can please keep his in your thoughts or prayers. From what she said he's doing as well as can be expected right now the first 10 days are the hardest on the little preemies. He had a ultrasound done on his brain today to see if there was any bleeding but luckily there isn't. She also has a little girl that is one week older then Livi.
I took Alivia over to my parents house today to visit and I wanted to take some photos with a lens I rented for a wedding i'm shooting this weekend. While we were taking photos Shealun was teaching Livi how to put her hands together and bump like you would pass a volleyball. It was the funniest this Livi kept doing it and hitting her little nose it was too cute! Who knows maybe one day she'll be showing her auntie up on the court. Well I better get to cleaning my house since i'll be gone all weekend with the wedding photos. I'm taking photos at the rehersal tomorrow night then i'll be gone a good 12 hours on Saturday documenting the day. So Livi and daddy will get to spend LOTS of quality time together. The longest Matt has been with her by himself is 6 hours let's hope she's in a good mood and he wont be pulling his hair out by the time I get home.

Jealous of my baby girl

Just wanted to share a few photos from today at our nephew Andrew's birthday party. Also a quick update Livi was really cranky this week one of her top teeth cut all the way thru. Her second top one is visible if you look closely i'm sure it will be in by next week. I can't wait for all of them to be in teething is annoying! I can say i'm officially jealous of my daughter she has what I've always dreamed of... CURLY HAIR! Lucky girl, the back is starting to curl now that it is getting longer. I hope it stays curly i'm sure she will hate it when she's older doesn't everyone want the hair they don't have. Atleast that's what I hear at work all the time. Ohh I just love it.
Tomorrow i'm meeting up with another mama from one of my mommy message boards and we're going to take photos of eachother's babies. Should be fun! We were going to do it yesterday but it was raining. At Andrew's birthday party

Street fair, baby legs and Toys R us

Like usual we've had a busy week sad to know the weekend is over and back into the same weekly routine tomorrow. BLAH! Friday was a nice day so I took Livi up to the Enumclaw street fair to walk around. I don't think i've ever seen that town so busy. People were everywhere. It definitly will be more fun for her in the years to come they had pony rides, bouncy houses a stand where kids could stuff their own stuffed animals. I saw a few of my clients there and they got to see Alivia in person not just in the tons of photos I always have with me at work. After we left the street fair I took Livi to the park and let her swing for a while and let her crawl around in the grass.
I've been wanting to buy Livi a pair of baby legs (leg warmer type things) for a while now so she can just wear a onsie and a pair of those that way she doesn't get rug burn all over her knees from crawling but i've been to cheap to spend $11.99 for a pair and we all know I can't sew so there is no way i'm going to make a pair. On Friday night I had to go buy some formula and baby food at Target and they had baby legs on sale for $2.99 so I decided to buy her a few pairs. She looks so cute in them but they don't stay up to well due to her ohh so cute chubby thighs.
Staurday when I got home from work we all just relaxed took a 2 hour nap which was nice, ordered some pizza and cleaned the house. This morning we got up early to run a few errands and made a stop to Toys R Us. We looked all over the store for some fun toys for Livi. We went over to the learning toy section, I guess you would call it that where they had all the Leap Frog toys and we started playing around with all the diffrent stuff. We came across this stuffed frog that lights up, talks, sings, teaches about colors and shapes and it plays soothing music to put little ones to sleep. Alivia was all over it she was so excited she kept smiling, lauging and kicking her feet everytime it would do something. We had to buy it for her.
This last week Alivia really started mocking us when we laugh and make noises. Matt was teaching her how to smack her lips together and make that popping noise with your mouth. So if we do it she will copy us it's too funny. Her top teeth are starting to poke out more and she's been a bit cranky poor baby her gums are so swollen. Last week she started standing and pulling up on things and now she's letting go of the couch or whatever she is holding on to and standing on her own for a few seconds before falling down she's working on that balance. I think she'll be walking way before her first birthday but we will see. We're going to have to start baby proofing the house even more. Speaking of first birthday i'm already starting to plan things out for her party and her one year photos it's going to be cute and ohh so girly you'll just have to wait and see what I have in store. Well it's late and i'm ready for bed. Hope you all have a great week!
