Build-A-Bear

Last year for Alivia's birthday we took her to Build-A- Bear Work Shop to make a stuffed animal and decided we'd make it a yearly event around her birthday. Today our family photo session got canceled so after getting Matt and I normal flu shots we decided to head up to Tacoma Mall to let her pick out an animal. After checking out the variety of stuffed animals Livi settled on a sparkly pink unicorn and we wanted her to pick one out to make baby Ian that way she could bring it to him in the hospital after he is born. Ian got a camo teddy bear that's really cute and we got a little shirt for his that says 'It's a boy'
We hope everyone has a wonderful and safe Halloween tomorrow I'll post photos of Livi in her Pirate costume as soon as I can. Checking out the animal options
Watching her unicorn get stuffed

Picking out a heart to put inside (She put two in baby brothers)
Adding in a heart for Ian
Then a heart for her's

Picking out clothes

Giving them a bath

making birth certificates

20 weeks!

Livi waiting for mommy to get her H1N1 shot

We're officially at the half way point woo hoo! Had my 20 week appt this morning everything looked good. I gained 2 lbs in the last month putting my grand total for this pregnancy so far at 4 lbs gained. Not bad in my book. I thought it was going to be higher I have been eating like crap lately. Ian's heart rate was 136 beats/minute Dr. Michelson said everything looked good. Got my H1N1 vaccine yesterday morning I'm so relived to finally have it. Now all we have to do is wait for Livi and Matt to be able to get it. Hopefully next month. 20 weeks 1 day 10.23.09

H1N1 vaccine

My Ob's office has finally gotten the H1N1 vaccine in! So Tomorrow morning I will be there when they open to get it. I was going to try my luck out at a free H1N1 clinic in Puyallup on Saturday but I'm so thankful I don't have to do that now. I was reading crazy stories on some of my mommy message boards about people spending the night at clinic locations in hopes to get the vaccine. Livi's pediatrician's office got some in but the clinics have been filled up so hopefully next month she'll be able to get hers as well. I really can't explain how thrilled I am to know that tomorrow I'll be getting the vaccine I've been stressing about it. I've been hearing of so many people in our area getting it and clients at work talking about people they know with it.

I love Target

Look what I got today for $99.00 heck yes new Travel system for baby Ian got it half off! Had to call around to a bunch of stores and my wonderful mother drove out to Graham to pick it up. I made the mistake when preggo with Livi and bought a pink carseat/stroller system and there's no way I'd be putting Ian in a pink carseat my boy wont have that :) I was thrilled because I loved this pattern and it also has a double stroller that matches which down the road I'm sure we'll get as well. So I'm planning on putting Livi's travel system on Craigslist since it's still in perfect condition make some money off it. So tips for new mom's buy gender nutral carseats that way you don't have to go out and buy another like me.

Almost 1/2 way done

On Thursday I will be officially half way through this pregnancy! Felt like my pregnancy with Alivia drug on and on. Probably since I'm so busy chasing after her, working and the fact I wasn't sick at all this time around played a big part on why I think it's flying by this time around. Matt was able to feel our little guy kick yesterday for the first time which was exciting! Today I went back up to the baby swap-n-sell party and I was thrilled to be able to shop this weekend! Bought a few onesies and cute outfits and while packing everything up I was given more clothing for him. Nothing else really going on around here. Hopefully we get our computer up and running soon so I can add photos to the blog. Have a wonderful week!

It's a....

We're having a healthy baby BOY! He looks perfect and he's measuring exactly with his due date March 11th. Our computer is still acting weird so I can't post ultrasound photos but I will as soon as possible! No official names have been picked for him yet. It may be a battle so for the time being I'm referring to him as 'Skeeter' long joke we had going at work. So hopefully baby boy 'Skeeter' will have a name soon that I can share with you all! It's going to be so fun having one of each!

Swap N Sell

Met up this afternoon with a bunch of mom's for a Swap N Sell party today. It was so fun to get and hang with other mom's. I was bummed I couldn't buy anything since we don't know the gender of baby #2 yet, but I'm excited we all decided to leave everything up and do it again next weekend since there were still some many clothes and other baby items. So next week I should be able to purchase some items yay! Here's few photos of the boy room and girl room I snagged off another mom's site. If you're interested in attending the swap n sell next week let me know and I can get you the info!

Our computer has been down since Sunday so I'm sorry I haven't been able to update and I don't know how long it will be before it gets fixed. Hopefully we'll be up and running before next Wednesday so we can share with you the gender of our baby.

17 weeks

Baby is measuring anywhere from 5-6 inches now! The skeleton is hardening and all the fingers and toes are complete with finger/toe prints. Can't wait to play with our baby's little toes how can you not love baby feet?

How far along: 17 weeks

Maternity clothes?: I saw a really cute maternity pea coat at Target I want it so bad! Then logically I thought it over and seriously a cute maternity coat that I will never wear again after this winter not worth the money. I need to get a new winter coat but I'll hold out until next year I'll survive this winter in sweatshirts and zip ups.

Best moment this week: Feeling baby kick last night and hearing baby's heart beat on Friday :)

Movement: Few kicks here and there

Food cravings: green bean casserole!!!! I've made it twice this week so far yummy can't wait for Thanksgiving!

Food aversions: Nothing really
Gender: My gut feeling still says girl 13 days until we find out for sure!
Belly Button in or out?: Innie but it's widening

What I am looking forward to: Finding out the gender ugh the suspense is killing me!
