Budgie Buddies
After Livi and Daddy woke up from their naps this afternoon we packed up and headed to Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium. They have their new Budgie Buddie exhibit going on right now and I thought it would be neat to take Livi there. I used to have a little green and yellow budgie but my sister, Amanda's killed it when we were little I don't think I had him very long either. Unfortunately the budgies were tired, hot or bored maybe a combo of the three but they weren't very active just perched on the netting. We bought bird seed sticks, but never had an opportunity to feed them. My favorite Beluga whale, Beethoven will be leaving for Sea World in June so I was happy to see him one last time. Livi loved him if I can get the video clip loaded on here she's telling him 'hi' when he swims past the glass. It was 85 degrees when we got to the zoo and there weren't many people there when we arrived around 4:30 pm which made it nice. They have a kid zone play area set up for all the kids to play in and they have these fountain/sprinklers that shoot up from the ground Livi had a blast with those she loved it until she got shot right in the face. I've been trying to teach Livi how to say 'thank you' but I haven't had any success with it, but as we were leaving the zoo one of the employees held a door open for us to push the stroller thru I said thanks and Alivia yelled 'Thank You' clear as day back at her. Silly girl! Well I loaded a ton of photos enjoy and video clip at the end of this post

First stomach bug
Little Miss came down with her first stomach bug yesterday morning. She threw up once after breakfast which was oatmeal and milk I bet you can imagine the mess I had to clean up. She seemed fine the rest of the day drinking a lot of liquids and had some bread while I was at work. It was so nice last night so we took her down to the park once I got home. Livi had a blast running around. We were on our way home at the top of Eli Hill by Shea's work and we heard her dry heaving and there she blew again poor baby. I raced down the hill and pulled into Walmart parking lot and cleaned her up while Matt ran into get Pedialyte, a air freshener for the car and a few other things for her. Poor Livi I felt bad for her she had a 'what the heck just happened to me' look on her face. Unfortunately she threw up all over her blanket so we washed and dryed it. She stayed up until after midnight waiting for the laundry to get done because she can't sleep with out her special blanket. We slept in until 9 am then got ready to go to Shealun's first fitting for her wedding dress. She looks so beautiful in her dress! Can't believe the wedding is approaching so quickly. Livi hasn't been sick today, she's drinking and eating so that's good. Her and daddy are napping right now then we plan on heading out to enjoy the sunshine later this afternoon. It's already eighty degrees outside.
Waiting for Auntie Shea to get to the dress store
Feeling so much better

Memorial Day Weekend
Hope everyone had a fabulous weekend! We sure did! It was perfect weather up here sunny all weekend long. I heard on the news last night that this was the first Memorial day weekend in WA where it was sunny all weekend in over 40 years. It's supposed to rain tomorrow then be sunny the rest of the week getting up to almost 80 by Friday. We spent a lot of time outside this weekend soaking up some much needed vitamin D. Matt and I were able to sneak away for a few hours yesterday afternoon to go see Star Trek (great movie by the way ) Livi hung out with Grandma and Grandpa. We went up to Sonic last Friday it's the first one that has opened in Western, WA it was insane there we waited in line for about an hour. I guess it's better then the four hour wait the first week. The next Sonic that is opening will be about three miles from our house due to be open by the end of summer I've heard. I'm looking into signing Livi and I up to do some mommy and me swimming lessons down at Sumner pool this summer. She loves the water so I figure might as well give it a try. I've been doing water aerobics for the past few weeks and i'm loving it! So much fun and it's an awesome workout. Enjoy the many photos my computer finally let me upload them and I included two photos from my friend, Bree's wedding. I met her in beauty school and she just text me today from Hawaii telling me she's pregnant woo hoo congrats!

18 month check up
Miss Alivia had her 18 month check up earlier today. She is 30 lbs and is 33" (2 foot 9) 75-90% for weight and over 95% for her height. Everything check out good and she's healthy! It's been a while since I've updated sorry, life is just really busy and I took photos at a friend's wedding last week so I've been editing them I'll post some next blog as well as more photos of Livi for some reason I can't get my photos to upload onto the computer today and I'm to lazy to try and figure it out now. Hope everyone had a wonderful Memorial day weekend! It's all sun shine up here woo hoo! I work for a few hours tomorrow then have Sunday and Monday off no big plans, just enjoying the sun and hopefully getting my tattoo touched up on Sunday.

Mother's Day

Happy Mother's Day to all you mommy's out there! Hope you all had a fantastic day and were spoiled by your families! I had a wonderful day with my family, our usual mother's day routine is all out of whack because my parent's are in Colorado right now so my dad wasn't able to make the waffles I love so much! I don't remember how old I was when he started making them for Mother's day every year but I look forward to it every year. He'll be making them next weekend for us yay! I went out to breakfast with Matt and Livi this morning, just down to IHOP in Auburn and the place was packed, but I expected that. We went over to the Super Mall after to walk around they have a play area there so we were going to let Livi play then I realized I didn't put socks on her this morning. Socks don't go well with the sandals she was wearing. We waited for Gymboree to open and we got her a pair and some cute hair bows for this summer. Grabbed a coffee then went to T-mobile to see if we could upgrade our phones and we did I feel all high tech now I have a phone with a slide out key board. While Matt paid for the phones and got the contract figured out Livi and I went to the play area and she ran around like crazy burning off some energy. Besides that we just relaxed the rest of the day it was nice out which made the day even better! Pretty soon Alivia will be able to wear her spring/summer dresses without them being layered.
I posted before about my goal to lose 10 lbs before Shealun's wedding, which is creeping up way to fast only three months to go. I'm starting water aerobics haha I know right my mom does is as well as a bunch of our clients so another one of our co-workers is going with me tomorrow since my mom wont be home yet. I never liked wearing a swim suit before ever, I was to self conscious but what I'd give to have the body I had before I got pregnant! I thought it would take me forever to find a swim suit that looked decent, the second one I tried on was perfect just bums me out I'll never wear the bikini I bought three years ago I'm not that daring. Have a great night and enjoy our mother's day photos
