Thanksgiving/Black Friday
Thanksgiving was wonderful! I ate way to much, but that's the point right? I look forward to that meal all year long and my parent's always have a great spread for everyone with tons of leftovers. I feel like I've been pigging out all day. Livi and I stayed at my parent's last night and we got up early to go shopping at 5am. I go to Fred Meyer every Black Friday to load up on 1/2 price socks for the family. It's always my first stop. I also scored a cute sleeper for Ian originally $17 got it for $6. Then I got the kiddos soft fleece jumbo blankets, Livi loves her's she keeps cuddling with it. Ian's is really neat black with guitars all over it got each of those for $6. Then I convinced my mom to get a Snuggie, threw it in her cart and we were making our way through the home department we noticed on one of the end caps Fred Meyer's brand of Snuggie which are so much better! Better quality, warmer and bigger plus they were on sale for $8.50. Cheaper then the actual Snuggie brand. We both snagged one and now I'm wishing I would've grabbed another to save for later. I picked Matt up from work afterwards and we went to Target got some new bath towels for $1.50 and a new memory card and a Christmas PJ set for Livi. We decided not to brave the mall this year and continued our shopping online. Old Navy was having a great sale so Matt scored 2 pairs of jeans for $15/each and we got Livi a new shirt. I kept finding sweaters that I loved and everytime Matt would go to check out they didn't have my size in stock anymore. So tomorrow we're going to go to Old Navy and see if we can find a few things I like. Hope everyone else had a wonderful Thanksgiving!

24 Weeks

Well I had a feeling my weight would come back to bite me in the ass. At my 20 week appt I had gained 4 lbs total the whole pregnancy. So over the last month I have had this mind set of ohh I can eat this or that I've only gained 4 lbs. Get on the scale and I gained 5 lbs this month. I'm not upset over it, I kept telling myself it would more then likely happen and my nurse told me my weight should start going up everytime I go in. So with 16 weeks left to go I have only gained 9 lbs which amazes me actually. With Livi I gained ekk...45 lbs total! Hopefully I'll manage to keep everything in check over the holidays and not eat as bad as I plan on. I don't want to go near that 45 lb mark again a good 30 lbs tops would be wonderful in my book 25 lbs even better. Just as long as Ian is healthy I really shouldn't care how much I gain. Ian's heart rate was 142 beats/ minute and he's messuring right on track. I have to go back in 2 weeks to do the gloucous test ugh.. sick I hate drinking that crap. Tastes like flat orange soda with extra sugar. I felt so sick after I drank it last time. My OB wrote me a perscription of some heart burn releif medicine. I've had the worse heart burn lately and nothing works some hopefully whatever it is he wrote out works wonders.

New Moon
I was one of the crazy people who went to the midnight showing of New Moon last night! After work we all went to dinner then saw Twilight at 9pm then New Moon. My best friend Arlene and I had a group of "Chatty Kathy's" sitting behind us during Twilight which was annoying! The theater was insane they had it playing on 4 screens in Bonney Lake, all which were sold out. Our theater and the one next to us had issues getting the film to work so it started 45 minutes late grrr... that was annoying but thankfully they finally got it up and running. New Moon is my fave in the Twilight Saga and I think they did a wonderful job with sticking close to the book. I shed a few more tears then I expected too, but let's just blame that on the preggo hormones. A few parts here and there kind of annoyed me but all in all it was an amazing movie and I can't wait for Eclipse in June! We took a bunch of photos last night but my computer isn't letting me upload them so I'll have to add them at another time.Tuesday, November 17, 2009
Darn u Starbucks!
Why must you keep coming out with more tempting drinks? I tried very hard to avoid your drive thru today after hearing of your new Caramel Brulee Latte. Needless to say I gave into temptation and I have a new addiction. I'm sure my waist line will be cursing at you come time to lose the baby weight. Now do me a favor and as much as I want it please don't bring back the salted caramel hot chocolate or I will be in real trouble. Thank you!
P.S. I look forward to seeing you tomorrow in the drive thru before work :)

23 weeks and U/S photos
We're at the 23 week mark now! Seems to be flying by. I was filling out the dates on our schedule at work for the coming months and it doesn't seem like March is that far off. I think with the holidays sneaking up time is really going to start going by quickly. I got a few of Ian's ultrasound photos on my computer now they're pretty crummy quality but I wanted to share them anyway. They're from our 19 week u/s last month.

Seattle Aquarium
I took today off for Livi's birthday so we could go up to the Seattle Aquarium. Livi loves fish so she seemed to enjoy it. I'd never been to the Seattle Aquarium before. They had a ton of things for kids to do. Alivia loved splashing around in the water in the exibits where you're able to touch the sea creatures. After the aquarium we took a short walk down to Ivar's I was craving some fish and chips bad! Once again Happy Birthday Livi!!!

H1N1 Clinic
I finally gave up on Livi's pediatrician's office, they haven't been able to get any more of the H1N1 vaccine in. Ever night I've spent countless amount of time checking out websites for all the surrounding counties to see if I can find the vaccine anywhere. Thankfully Pierce County got a shipment in and held a free clinic at Clover Park High School this morning for children and pregnant women. They had 2,200 doses and after waiting for 2 hours Alivia got her first dose of the vaccine. She was a trooper didn't cry at all and was pretty good through the whole waiting process. She'll have to get a second dose around Dec 5th so I'm hoping by then her Pedi's office will have more of the vaccine in again.
Tomorrow we're having a small birthday get together with my parents. Can't believe Livi will be two on Monday! We're going to take her to the Seattle Aquarium and the Woodland Park zoo that day. The weather will suck but she'll have a great time! Over the last couple days we've gone over the ABC's with her and she can say all the letters it's amazing how smart she's getting blows my mind. Enjoy the rest of your weekend and look back soon for B-day photos!

Snuggie :)
Ok totally random post but I really I think everyone should get a Snuggie. I bought one earlier this week and it's wonderful! Wish I could have gotten one earlier. If you don't know what a Snuggie is, basically a blanket with sleeves. I love to read so this blanket is wonderful so my arms stay warm. Plus I figure I'd be perfect with a new baby I could have my hands free and remain under a blanket. I'm a super dork and even drove to work with mine the other day because it was freezing and didn't want to find my zip up.
