Just realized I never post any photos from Christmas night. We went to my parents for dinner. We had an Italian feast. My parents made lasagna and Shealun and Roger made some amazing chicken Alfredo. It was all so good and I ate so much of it. I didn't take to many photos that night, but here are some of my favorites.
I have to say Christmas is much more fun when you're a parent and get to see the excitement in your kids face when they see all the presents under the tree. We got Livi up at 6 am to open presents. My brother had to work early this morning so in order to have him be able to join us we needed to be at my parents by 8 am. Ian wasn't to impressed with being woken up early and spent a good portion of the unwrapping cuddled up in his bouncy seat. Livi couldn't ripe through everything fast enough. She was so excited about everything. Santa, Matt and I got her a toy kitchen, tons of Littlest Pet Shops, Tinker Bell Fairies set with 6 fairy Barbies, Pot & Pan set for her kitchen, Kinect video game she wanted, Toy Story Barbie, Two Toy Story Mr. Potato heads. Gidian got some blocks, baby Tonka trucks, and Scout the V-tech learning dog. Which is programed to say Gidian's name it's so cute. We didn't go to crazy with him since he wouldn't remember it anyway.
At my parents we started with our traditional breakfast burrito meal we do every Christmas. Then unwrapped all the gifts. My brother got a bunch of travel items, he'll be going to Italy this Spring for a few weeks. My siblings, Matt and Shea's boyfriend, Roger we got my dad a GPS and we all got my mom a Multimedia reader. The kids were spoiled once again by their grandparents and auntie and uncle. My parents got Livi a ton of accessories for her kitchen, Shea and Roger got Livi a mechanical dog that walks, barks etc... she named it Stella. Kyle got Livi the authentic Toy Story 3 talking Mr. Potato head. Ian got a Fisher Price Lawn mower and a Spider man car he can ride on or push to help encourage walking. I don't know what we're going to do with all these toys. We have so many already. I'm thinking I will go through their old toys tomorrow and donate the ones they don't use anymore to make room for everything else. Gidian's first Chrismas

Christmas eve we spent most of the day at home. Took a quick trip to Bonney Lake to pick up pies for dessert and to get a stand to hook our Kinect system to out TV. Unfortunately our TV is to big for the stand to hold the Kinect so that's a bummer. The rest of the afternoon we lounged around then went to my parents for dinner. My dad made a yummy prime rib, I ate way to much. Once dinner was cleaned up everyone walked over to our house for dessert and to play games on the Kinect. We got a good ab work out laughing our butts off watching Matt, Shealun and Roger bust it out on Dance Evolution. Shea by far kicked everyones butt. Both kids were able to open one present. Livi opened a Toy Story Potato head figure and Ian got a truck he could chew on. After we ate dessert and Livi got cookies and milk set up for Santa. We tucked her into bed and watched Easy A with my family. We did the Santa bit and called it a night.
I have new hair to start off the coming New Year! I was watching ' Easy A' last night and decided I wanted to go red/copper like Emma Stone's hair in the movie. This morning I ran up to the salon and Cassondra colored it for me. I totally can pull off the red hair if I do say so myself. Looks great with my pale skin. Also decided to grow my hair out. I try and then end up chopping it off when it hits the top of my shoulder. So I'm going to try it out fingers crossed I don't give in and start snipping at it. I haven't had long hair since Matt and I started dating. Went to beauty school and it got shorter and shorter.

After impatiently waiting 3 hours to see Santa this evening as he came by with the Buckley Fire department, all Livi asked for Christmas was a candy cane. He was pleased he could give her an 'early' gift and handed her a few candy canes. She was excited about the candy canes, but was mad when I told her she was only allowed to eat one since it was nearing bed time.
This morning two of my close girl friends and their kids came over for a play date. The kids played while we had a Twilight marathon ;) It was nice just being able to hang out and relax. Only got through the first two movies and plan on watching the third during another play date after the holidays.
Both kids and exhausted and taking a short nap now and then I'll get them bundled up and ready for Santa to come around our neighborhood tonight on the fire truck. Hoping the wind holds off for Santa because we're in for a huge wind storm tonight. Dylan and Livi Bella, Livi, Dylan
Here's a way for our family and friends to keep up with our growing family. Alivia was born Nov. 9th 2007 and we just welcomed baby brother Gidian (Ian) to our family on March 5th 2010. Keep checking back we update often.
