Only 2 more weeks

I can't believe it in two short weeks we'll have a one year old! It amazes me how fast this year has gone. In a way it makes me sad, my baby is growing up. Last night she woke up in the middle of the night, for the first time in I don't know how long. I picked her up out of her crib and she snuggled up on me. It melt my heart. Cuddling is the last thing she wants to do anymore. I didn't want to put her back in her crib after she went back to sleep. I just wanted to hold her all night. I couldn't though I needed a little bit of sleep. I woke up early and had 2 photo sessions and let me tell you it was freezing at 10 am brrr! I had a great time and got some awesome photos. I took some of Matt's, bestfriend Brandon and his wife. I also took some photos for my co-worker Terese and her family. I took photos yesterday afternoon for Trina, she did our family photos last week. Needless to say I had a pretty busy weekend.
Alivia is walking all over the place now. Just in the last 2 days she really got it down. It's so funny watching her catch her balance when she almost falls over. I've been in birthday planning mode a lot this past week. We have the first of her two birthday parties next Sunday then the following one on Nov. 8th. Matt will be gone for most the day on her actual birthday so i'll have to come up with something fun her and I can go do together. Well I better get to bed I have lots of errands to do in the morning. Passed out in her carseat after a long day

Girls are so fun!

My mom and I went shopping this morning and I came across a pink and black pettiskirt. I've been wanting to get Alivia one for a while now but I could never bring myself to buy one since they are about $80 everywhere I look. Today I happend to glance over at the little girl section and they had a ton in all sorts of colors for $20. Score! When we got home I put her in it and she loved it. She kept playing with all the frills it was adorable. It's alittle big but she'll eventually grow into it. Here's a few photos I had to share since she's so cute!

11 months old!

One more month until Alivia's first birthday! I can't get over how fast this year has gone! I've been in birthday planning mode I just got her the cutest dress for her party I can't wait!
Matt and I both had the day off today. It was a sunny fall day which I love! We took Livi to the pumpkin patch and took some photos of her and walked around looked at all the animals and everything they had going on at Maris Farm. We decided a few months ago for her birthday we wanted to take her to Build-A-Bear workshop and let her pick out a stuffed animal and have it made. Since we were out and about we headed up to the Tacoma Mall and got her birthday present a month early. We showed her a bunch of different stuffed animals and we came across a lopped ear bunny and she wouldn't let it go so we got her that one. She hasn't let go of it ever since we got it. Silly girl. We plan on making it a birthday tradition taking her up there every year and letting her pick out a new animal. Well i'm off to bed I have to get up extra early tomorrow it's suppost to freeze tonight so window scrapping it is.

Baby Isaac

My heart aches right now, I've been following a blog online I came across on one of my mommy message boards I visit. Here's the link if you would like to read it http://sgirl79.blogspot.com/
I'll try to summarize it alittle bit if you don't read their blog. This couple Stacy & Spencer were expecting a baby boy. 12 weeks along in her pregnancy they discovered baby Isaac had a few chromosomal abnormality. Isaac was born earlier today he spent 16 precious minutes with his parents before he passed away.

I wanted to post a little section from her blog she wrote the day before he was born

I think it goes without saying why this post is titled what it is...I guess it could be stated as "24 hours until I get to meet my son," or, as it has been feeling to me, "24 hours is the time I know that I have left with Isaac." Either way, it seems like in a blink of an eye, I have thought of the time left until October 7 in months... then weeks... then days... and now hours. Hours. To be honest, this morning my heart is just really heavy... heavy for the uncertainty of what the next few days will bring, heavy for Isaac and wanting so much for him to not be in pain and to just feel so loved, heavy for Spencer and his heart as a father, heavy for my parents as they prepare to meet their first grandson.

I thought a lot about their family today and to realize how lucky Matt and I are to have a beautiful healthy baby girl. I guess no matter how frustrated we may get at times we are truly blessed and I'm sure they would give anything to be able to spend a day in my shoes with their child.

Fall is here!

My favorite time of the year is here! I love everything about fall: the colors, the crisp cool air, pumpkin spice lattes at Starbucks, sweaters and the best holiday ever Thanksgiving. I'm really looking froward to it this year. Last year was nice but I hardly got to eat anything b/c Alivia was so fussy that day so I was on edge.
I wanted to share a few photos of Livi from this week. Can you believe it in 5 weeks my baby girl will be a year old!!
