Dropped

At work on Saturday Ian was definitely doing a lot of moving around and all the girls and I could tell he was laying transverse again (sideways) you could just press on my stomach and feel his little butt and his head not sure which one was which but you could totally tell. I felt him flip again last night so he's either breech again or hopefully head down now. I'm feeling a lot of pressure down in my pelvis now, so it makes me think he's head down because I wasn't able to feel that sort of pressure when he was laying breech. In the last two days I've also been able to breathe easier and my ribs haven't been aching as much. I thought I had dropped and my mom said the same thing tonight at dinner so when I got home I had to take a belly photo to see. I wore the same shirt I wore on Thursday to compare. What do you think?

Oscar Meyer Weiner Truck

Took Livi shopping this morning with my mom and I. Fred Meyer had the Oscar Meyer Wiener truck parked out front of the store so we had to take Livi's picture in front of it. In the car when we drove past she yelled 'Big hot dog' it was so funny. Just wanted to share some photos from this weekend enjoy!

34 week appt

I had my 34 week appt this afternoon. Everything went well Ian's heart rate was at 141. They drew blood to make sure I'm not anemic and I should get the results back sometime next week. My little guy seems pretty cozy in there, still in the footling breech position. If he hasn't flipped by my 36 week appt we're going to talk about doing an external version, which is a procedure where my OB would turn the baby from the breech position into the head down position. I've heard from many people it's extremely painful and there are many risks involved in doing this. I asked my OB about his 'success rate' in turning a baby and he said 80/20 which is pretty good in my book, but I think I'd rather just go through a c-section then risk anything crazy happening while trying to turn my little guy. I doubt he'll budge that easy if he's as big as his sister was. Knowing it's likely I may have to have a c-section this time around kind of freaks me out. The thought of laying awake while being cut open doesn't sound to appealing, but the idea of going in and a few hours after your arrive you already are holding your baby sounds nice. I guess the real thing that I'm worried about it recovery from a c-section my friend Bree had one last week and from what she tells me it's no fun. Matt will be taking five weeks off like he did when Livi was born which I'm grateful for it will be nice to have his help. Well keep your fingers crossed and say a prayer our little guy decides to flip.

ABC's

Alivia has been amazing us over the past month with her ABC's with the help of her Little Einstein's learning computer and her fridge phonics she's learning a lot. Last week I was at my parent's house showing my mom Ian's 3D ultrasound photos on the computer and Livi was pointing out the letters on the keyboard and saying what they were. This morning I was very impressed, she brought her computer to bed with her last night and I woke to her playing it today. She had it set on a learning game where you find the capital letter to the lower case letter they show on the screen. She got 6 in a row correct. I was laying in bed listening to it through the baby monitor in shock I couldn't believe it. Pretty good for a 2 year old I think. Can't believe how big she's getting! 33 weeks and breech

33 weeks today only 6 weeks to go until we get induced! I'm still feeling pretty good. I think we finally have kicked this insane cold we've all had to the curb! I'm ready for us to all be healthy again it's been a long 3 weeks. We found out yesterday at our ultrasound appt that Ian is in the footling breech position right now. Heads up near the top of my uterus and his feet are sticking straight down. At my 32 week appt last week he was laying transverse (sideways across my uterus) On Tuesday night I could totally feel him turning and I was hoping he had turned head down, but nope. My OB says most babies will be turned head down by week 36 so he says not to worry about it until then. I just worry my little guy is going to run out of room either that or find it to be more comfortable in any position other then head down. I have an appt next Wed. will be getting my final blood draw this pregnancy woo hoo to check if I'm anemic. After the one I go in weekly to get checked and see if I'm dilating at all. We're almost in the home stretch!

3/D Ultrasound

Had our 3/D ultrasound today it was fun being able to get another glimpse of our little guy. His umbilical cord kept getting in the way of his little face but we were still able to get some good shots. Ian has chubby cheeks just like his sister did. Can't believe in 6 weeks he'll be in my arms! Enjoy the photos!

32 Week appt

Had my 32 week appt today I put on 5 lbs this month bringing my grand total weight gain for 32 weeks to 21 lbs not to shabby. Ian's heart rate was 145 beats a minute he's laying sideways right now and I'm hoping in the next few weeks he'll decide to turn head down and stay put. My OB's office just started offering 4/D ultrasounds. We did one while I was pregnant Livi and went to this fancy ultrasounds place in Seattle, paid almost $400. I asked about it today and they said they only do it through week 32 so I was able to snag the last appt. they had open for next Wed. plus it's $125 to do it at my OB's office. I can't wait to see what Ian looks like as of right now. We did the 4/D with Livi when I was 27 weeks the photos and video were very detailed we were able to watch her sucking her thumb and we could see her chubby cheeks and big pouty lips it's so neat to be able to see their features while they're still growing. I'll totally update the blog with photos after our ultrasound.
We're still sick around here and it's starting to drive me bonkers. Why does it seem when you feel the crappiest you have ever felt you have so much going on? My work week has been insane, which is good since it usually dies down in January but goodness everyone and the brother wants in with me this week. Matt came down with the cold on Tuesday poor guy I was hoping he'd avoid it. So crossing my fingers we will all feel 100% by next week.

Sick of being sick...

Round two of sickness is sweeping through our home. Some how Matt keeps dodging it and I'm extremely envious of him. On Thursday Livi came down with a cold, runny nose, cough and I'm sure a sore throat as well, since those are the three things I've been experiencing since yesterday. I'm officially sick of all the sickness going on when am I going to get a break? I feel absolutely horrible! I called my OB's office today to see if there was anything I could take since I feel so crummy. Luckily they gave me a list of meds that are safe then my OB decided to put me on Tamiflu as a precaution even though I've had both the flu/H1N1 vaccines. I was very grateful this morning I woke up and looked at the clock it was almost 10 am Livi slept in which in turn I got to sleep in. I'm hoping tomorrow I will luck out as well, but I doubt it will happen two days in a row. I have come to the conclusion that a stuffy nose is the most annoying thing ever it drives me bonkers! Then the sneezing that's a whole other story if I 'Sniss' (sneeze/piss lol) one more time I may just pull my hair out. With all the added pressure I have going on from little guy being on my bladder every time I sneeze I pee my pants a little. Sorry if TMI, but it's so true. The only thing I can think of that would be worse right now is if I were in labor. Seriously I would probably just beg to be knocked out at that point having this cold and being in labor all at the same time would be torture. I'm really hoping we get through being sick here with in the next few days and we can remain healthy the rest of the year.

Secondhand Chic

My friend, Keren started a Facebook page called Secondhand Chic. Where anyone can post items they want to Sell, Swap, Buy. Last night I added Livi's baby bedding that was never used, a big lot of her summer clothing and the brand spanking new Graco stroller that came with the infant seat I got Ian. As of right now I've sold the stroller for $75 and sold the clothes for $30 woo hoo! Talk about easy way to make money and it's helping get rid of clutter in my house. We didn't need the stroller because we'll have to get a double stroller but I got the travel system for $99 on clearance. I loved the pattern and to buy just the infant seat was $89 so why not for $10 get the whole system on sale. However talk about perfect timing on selling these items this evening we're making a run to Target to get the double stroller that matches the infant seat I got Ian. It's on sale for $95 they had three in stock last night so hopefully they still have one.

I've still been going back and forth on bedding for the kids room and finally 100% decided. Check out the photos posted below. I can get each of them the 9 piece set for $49.99 on Ebay opposed to buying them on the ladies actual site for $170. Livi obviously doesn't need most the of the items that come with the whole set but I'll just turn around and sell them on Secondhand Chic.

31 weeks :)

Terrible 2's

I'd say we've been pretty lucky up to this point, but today the terrible two's hit our house big time. Alivia has thrown the biggest fits today over the silliest things and just isn't listening. Makes me want to pull my hair out! I hope she wakes up tomorrow in a happy mood once again I miss my "angel child"
On top of her fits and attitude problem she's not wanting to sleep in her own bed. Mainly my fault with her getting the stomach flu last week and I got it at the beginning of this week I've just let her sleep in my bed. Last night I was feeling better and after I laid her down in her bed she woke up an hour later, so I laid her down with me. Five minutes of laying there I knew I had to break this little habit now, I refuse to have a child who will not sleep in her own room. Have you seen some of those kids on Super Nanny or what not. No thank you! So we went out and cuddled on the couch for about and hour then she happily laid down in her bed and slept until 9am.
I scored again in the maternity section at Target! I got two new shirts for $2.48 each. I really didn't need anymore maternity clothes but for that cheap I couldn't pass them up. Got to love a good deal. They have a lot of their baby items on sale right now clearancing them out for new arrivals and the double stroller that matches the travel system I bought this time around is marked down 50% they still had a bunch in stock so I'm hoping by the end of the week I can pick it up.

New Year = lack of sleep

It's been hectic around our house Livi got sick New Years Eve with a stomach bug and has been congested and everything over the past few days. On Friday night/ Saturday morning I was up with her until almost 6am I have no clue why she wouldn't go to bed. Then I had to get up at 7:45 am for work I was pretty crabby as you can imagine. Got home from work in hopes of taking a nap but only got about 15 minutes before Livi woke up from her nap. So I was looking forward to going to bed early last night, but just as I was about to hit the sack I heard Livi puking in her bed. Ugh.. can I just say I'm officially sick of cleaning up vomit! So we were up a good portion of last night as well. She seems back to normal now and only puked the once so hopefully Livi is done with all of that and I'm keeping my fingers crossed that Matt and I don't get it.
My house organizing/de-cluttering is coming along nicely. Cleaned out closets yesterday and have bags of things to bring by the Goodwill tomorrow before work. I'm hoping to get the whole house in spotless order by February 1st that's my goal so I can spend the last month of my pregnancy just relaxing. Hope everyone has a great weekend I'm going to take a nap now since Livi is. 30 weeks 2 days
Newest addition to the family (ok not our actual little family, but I'd gladly take her) Shea's new puppy, Stella. Isn't she the cutest?
