Weekend Fun

This has been one fun filled weekend! Yesterday afternoon the kids and I went to my friend's daughter's 2nd Birthday party. They had rented a bouncy house and Alivia loved it. I couldn't keep her out of it. Keren went all out for Miss. Norah's birthday. It was a rainbow theme, Keren went all out with the details. She had layered cupcakes and Jello in rainbow colors all the decorations were amazing. There were several other ladies there I knew from our mommy get together and what not and a few others I just met. Norah's birthday gave me lots of ideas for Livi's birthday party coming up in November. After the party the kiddos and I went home for nap time then spent the rest of the evening at my parent's house.
Matt's vacation ends tonight so we spent today as a family since it's been a busy/crazy week we haven't had to much family time. My friend told me about a new park in Bonney Lake which is pretty close to our house so we checked it out this afternoon. I think I have a new favorite park that I'll be taking the kids to. Hope you all had a wonderful weekend!

Sunshine and Matt's birthday

It finally seems like summer up here in the Pacific Northwest. Matt put our air conditioner in on Wednesday morning and I'm very grateful. The last three days have gotten into the mid 90's. I was driving up to South Hill yesterday morning and just after ten thirty it was 85 out there. I had to make a quick stop to pick up Matt's birthday present. Since I was near the hospital I stopped by to visit with Rebecca and see sweet baby Rosalee. Ian seems so big compared to her. Hard to believe he was almost that little only four months ago. It's amazing how fast babies grow. We celebrated Matt's birthday with my family last night. Went down to Shea's work (The Power House) for dinner. Shea was our waitress so she got to celebrate with us between serving other tables. Once the house cooled down I made a German chocolate cake for Matt's birthday which is today. Happy 28th birthday Matt! Crazy to think he was 19 when we started dating and I was 16. Time is just flying! This afternoon we went over to Matt's brother's house for lunch and cake. Matt stayed over there the rest of the evening so the kiddos and I made a Target run to pick up a mini swimming pool for Livi and get a birthday present for my friend Keren's daughter. We'll be going to her birthday party tomorrow. The kids and I spend the rest of the day at my parent's enjoying the sunshine. Alivia loved her pool, I think we'll be getting a lot of use out of that this summer if the sun sticks around.Visiting baby Rosalee

Baby Rosalee

My good friend, Rebecca had her second baby girl today! I went down to Good Sam around noon before work in hopes of being there while Rosalee was born. Becca got to 8 cms before I had to bail out and head to the salon I was so crushed I had to leave. I missed the arrival of her oldest daughter Bella by a few minutes back four years ago. I told them to call me when Becca was delivering but I hadn't heard from anyone when I left work at 5:30 pm I was in route back to Good Sam but was bummed I had missed it Rosalee was born at 5:26pm weighing 7 lbs 14 oz. She's adorable! Ian has another friend or possible future girlfriend (wink wink)
In the 4 months since I had Ian Good Sam had changed a lot in their birth center they got more high tech. It was neat being back down there brought back sweet memories of having my babies. Made me sad that I wont be having anymore :(

Four months

Ian is 4 months old already! He's growing up to fast makes me kind of sad.
Ian is sleeping for 10-11 hours straight at night. Drinking 6 oz of formula every 2 1/2 - 3 hours. Not sure his weight and height yet but he has his 4 month check up next week. Ian is wearing clothing that's 6-9 month sizes, my little chunk. He's smiling all the time and laughs when he is tickled or getting his clothes changed also when I make dorky faces at him. Ian loves watching Alivia, he is constantly watching her it's so sweet. Still trying to roll over from back to tummy almost gets there but can't quite make it. I looked at Livi's baby book last night and she didn't roll over until she was almost 5 months. Ian continues to amaze us everyday. So thankful for my little man!

Our 4th of July

Besides the crummy weather we had a great 4th. This year my brother was even able to stop by for a while. He's usually working so it was nice having him around. There was tons of good food and my sister was whipping up sweet tea vodka and lemonade, I had a few sips since I was our DD it was yummy :) We finished the evening off around the fire pit and watched the fireworks over the lake, Livi loved them and Ian slept through them. Tons of photos enjoy! Uncle Kyle and Ian

4th of July flashback

Happy 4th of July everyone! Hope you all have a wonderful and safe day. We will be spending the afternoon/evening on Lake Tapps at the Malesis's home ( Where we got married) I'm pretty sure we've spend the last eight years there on the 4th. It's always a big party tons of people, food, a DJ, games, fireworks. The weather is kind of crummy today so the cute outfits I got for the kiddos may end up being layered. It's going to get up to about 67 degrees today then the 80's start rolling in on Tuesday. Matt started a week of vacation last night so I'm happy we wont have to bail out shortly after the fireworks start. He's excited to have tonight off.
In honor of the 4th here's a little flash back from the last three years. Last year on the 4th I was pregnant with Ian, but didn't have any clue. I got out on the boat and was so nauseous but I was blaming it on the choppiness of the water but I'm sure it was due to him. I'm so happy he's here this year to celebrate with us. I'll post photos tonight or tomorrow from our 4th of July party.
