Getting closer

Today marks the first day of my third trimester! Can't believe how fast this whole pregnancy is going. Got my results from my glucose test I did last week everything was normal. That's the one test I worry about failing or what not b/c the thought of doing the three hour scares me since I hate getting blood drawn to begin with.

Taking Livi to see Santa tomorrow so check back from updated photos :)

Lakewood Police Officers

I'm sure most have heard about the four Lakewood Police Officers who were murdered last Sunday in our state. I spent the morning watching the memorial and still have a few hours to catch up on the DVR sometime this week. My heart breaks for the families of these officers I couldn't imagine what they have to be going through. The turn out was amazing there were thousands of poilce officers who came from all over the country to be there today. Even in the freezing cold I couldn't believe how many people were there to show support. The procession was unbelieveable brought tears to my eyes many times.
While at work today Matt text me asking if I wanted to pick up a pizza from Papa Johns tonight since all the sales for today and tomorrow go to the fallen officer's families. I agreed and when I got off work I called up the local Papa John's in Bonney Lake it was just after 7pm and they told me that they were so backed up with orders they weren't going to be able to take anymore for th evening. Seems like everyone had the same idea as we did for dinner. I admit I was bummed, I was craving some pizza but figured I'd place an order for lunch tomorrow before I head to work since the money still goes to the families.

Check out how cold it was when I pulled into my driveway this evening

Hospital rules :(

I heard a while back that Good Sam was changing their visitation rules for the birth center due to this years H1N1. It had originally been no children under the age of twelve would be allowed into the birth center. Now only your husband/partner and one grandparent can be in the delivery room and the only people allowed to visit while you're in recovery are grandparents. I understand the reasoning behind it all I honestly don't want anyone sick around my new baby, but it breaks my heart that Livi wont be able to meet her little brother until after we get home from the hospital. Then I also don't like the fact I wont be able to see her for a few days. My mom is going to stay with Livi and our dog at our house while we're at the hospital so that will be nice everything will be taken care of there so we wont have to worry about anything. I'm hoping maybe by March they'll switch their rules around a smidge and maybe Livi will be able to stop by and visit.

One to go

Alivia got her second and final dose of the H1N1 vaccine this afternoon. (Two and under they break it up into 2 doses) Thankfully we didn't have to go to another public clinic and wait hours we were able to go to another branch of her pedi clinic. She was a little worried when we walked into the room but took the shot like a champ. Both her and I are covered now, daddy just needs to get it, but we were told he can't get it until he's actually caring for an infant so he'll have to wait until March. Waiting for the nurse
all smiles after :)

Maternity photo

Today has been a long day, this morning we finally got around to doing family photos. My friend Keren did them it was freezing out but it's finally out of the way hopefully I can get around to doing my Christmas cards next week. Then this afternoon I did a Maternity photo session. I was asked a few weeks ago if I'd like to be a model and thought it'd be a lot of fun. I'm sure in a few weeks Laura will have the Maternity ones on her site for you to check out. www.PortraitsByLauraPhoto.com

Nursery makeover

Well I think I may have found bedding for the kiddos bedroom. Not yet 100% positive but close. Since Alivia and Ian will be sharing a room (once he sleeps through the night. Until then he will sleep in our room) I wanted to find a fun/modern looking pattern to go with. Right now I'm hooked on the Bacati Baby Bedding Collection- Brown/White from Target.com It has a mix of stripes and polka dots which I love :) The room is a tan color now which I intend to keep that way, but will have to paint over the wonderful hand painted polka dots my amazing husband spent hours doing before Livi's arrival. With the brown/white I think I could find some fun wall decor and really make the room into something great for the kids. Here's the basic patterns I pulled off Target's site so you could get an idea.

A few photos of Livi's room prior to her arrival :)

100 days

Well we've reached the 100 days left of this pregnancy mark. Tomorrow we're in double digits crazy! I guess technically it's 100 days until my estimated due date but only 93 days until my induction date as long as everything works out that way and my OB will still induce me a week early like we've talked about. Busy week ahead of us besides work I have a doctors appt, Livi is getting her second dose of the H1N1 vaccine, I'm being a model for a Maternity photographer which will be exciting! Then ending the week we're getting family photos taken. Hopefully the weather will be some what nice on Saturday for our family photos crossing our fingers for no rain. Well enjoy the rest of you week. Can you believe it's already Decemeber where does the time go?
