Well we had an interesting afternoon to say the least. Got the kiddos ready to meet some friends at the park and I locked us out of the house. I asked my friend, Rebecca if she'd like Livi's old convertible car seat for her daughter. She wanted it so I told her I'd bring it along. So I get the kids out on the front porch and I had the car seat sitting in the entry way since I was trying to sell it at the garage sale last weekend. I went to set the seat on the porch and clicked the bottom lock and shut the door. As soon as I shut the door I realized I left the keys on the staircase. Ugh... thankfully I had my cell with me. Matt's out of state this week so I couldn't call him for help. The real dumb part is he gave me his keys before he left and I had them in the diaper bag but took them out right before we left the house. My mom had the valet key to my car so I knew I could at least get that. While I was sitting there I remembered I gave them a house key also back when Livi was born so they could take care of the dog. My dad found the key and was able to come save the day! I lucked out there he's usually working in Ballard but he took the rest of the week off because my aunt is in town from Colorado. We pushed the park play date back an hour but we eventually made it. Of all the times for me to lock the keys somewhere it had to be when Matt was gone. Go figure :)
