Photography class

So I finally got my Mother's day gift! I've been looking into taking some photography classes for a while now and I wasn't able to find anything that really intrigued me. I got a college brochure in the mail from one of our local community colleges I was skimming through it one evening and came across a section of online courses. I went online and found a bunch of different classes that caught my attention. I told Matt about it and for Mother's day he said one of my gifts was I could sign up and take one of the courses. The course is called Mastering digital photography, photographing people. I figured it would refresh things I already know as well as improve the skills I have. It's 6 weeks long 2 lessons a week. I started this morning and I really enjoyed it! One of the assignments today had to do with lighting and composer. When I got home from work I got my camera ready and grabbed my favorite subject, Livi and got to shooting. I've been playing around with the different modes on my Canon Rebel Xti lately and i'm really enjoying the way my photos are turning out for the longest time I just used the main auto mode but now i'm discovering what this camera can really do. Here's just a few of my favorite photos keep in mind I was just messing around with what day light I had left so the photos could be a lot better and we were inside and our house has crummy lighting to begin with all are without flash.
