35/35

Today marks the 35th week in my pregnancy and 35 days until my estimated due date of March 11th. Which I wont be making it to thankfully! I'll either be induced on March 4th or have a c-section March 3rd if my little guy is still breech. I have an appt next Tuesday so I'm hoping I get some good news but either way I have a month to go and I'm done! I'm so uncomfortable now, I can't sleep at night I'm tossing and turning for hours because I can't seem to find a comfy position to lay. Work kicked my butt big time today I was on my feet for 5 1/2 hrs. straight usually no big deal at all I love it when it's like that, but by the time I got done doing my last color I thought my hips were going to fall off and my back killed me. I'm working until the 27th and starting my maternity leave after that for 6 weeks. Matt's going to be able to take 5 weeks off as well which I'm thankful for it's going to be nice having all this time to spend as a family. I'm even going to try and attempt to potty train Livi while we're both off. See if she takes to it, if not no biggy we'll work on it come summer time. Well wish me luck off to try and get some sleep.

Dropped

At work on Saturday Ian was definitely doing a lot of moving around and all the girls and I could tell he was laying transverse again (sideways) you could just press on my stomach and feel his little butt and his head not sure which one was which but you could totally tell. I felt him flip again last night so he's either breech again or hopefully head down now. I'm feeling a lot of pressure down in my pelvis now, so it makes me think he's head down because I wasn't able to feel that sort of pressure when he was laying breech. In the last two days I've also been able to breathe easier and my ribs haven't been aching as much. I thought I had dropped and my mom said the same thing tonight at dinner so when I got home I had to take a belly photo to see. I wore the same shirt I wore on Thursday to compare. What do you think?

Oscar Meyer Weiner Truck

Took Livi shopping this morning with my mom and I. Fred Meyer had the Oscar Meyer Wiener truck parked out front of the store so we had to take Livi's picture in front of it. In the car when we drove past she yelled 'Big hot dog' it was so funny. Just wanted to share some photos from this weekend enjoy!

34 week appt

I had my 34 week appt this afternoon. Everything went well Ian's heart rate was at 141. They drew blood to make sure I'm not anemic and I should get the results back sometime next week. My little guy seems pretty cozy in there, still in the footling breech position. If he hasn't flipped by my 36 week appt we're going to talk about doing an external version, which is a procedure where my OB would turn the baby from the breech position into the head down position. I've heard from many people it's extremely painful and there are many risks involved in doing this. I asked my OB about his 'success rate' in turning a baby and he said 80/20 which is pretty good in my book, but I think I'd rather just go through a c-section then risk anything crazy happening while trying to turn my little guy. I doubt he'll budge that easy if he's as big as his sister was. Knowing it's likely I may have to have a c-section this time around kind of freaks me out. The thought of laying awake while being cut open doesn't sound to appealing, but the idea of going in and a few hours after your arrive you already are holding your baby sounds nice. I guess the real thing that I'm worried about it recovery from a c-section my friend Bree had one last week and from what she tells me it's no fun. Matt will be taking five weeks off like he did when Livi was born which I'm grateful for it will be nice to have his help. Well keep your fingers crossed and say a prayer our little guy decides to flip.

ABC's

Alivia has been amazing us over the past month with her ABC's with the help of her Little Einstein's learning computer and her fridge phonics she's learning a lot. Last week I was at my parent's house showing my mom Ian's 3D ultrasound photos on the computer and Livi was pointing out the letters on the keyboard and saying what they were. This morning I was very impressed, she brought her computer to bed with her last night and I woke to her playing it today. She had it set on a learning game where you find the capital letter to the lower case letter they show on the screen. She got 6 in a row correct. I was laying in bed listening to it through the baby monitor in shock I couldn't believe it. Pretty good for a 2 year old I think. Can't believe how big she's getting! 33 weeks and breech

33 weeks today only 6 weeks to go until we get induced! I'm still feeling pretty good. I think we finally have kicked this insane cold we've all had to the curb! I'm ready for us to all be healthy again it's been a long 3 weeks. We found out yesterday at our ultrasound appt that Ian is in the footling breech position right now. Heads up near the top of my uterus and his feet are sticking straight down. At my 32 week appt last week he was laying transverse (sideways across my uterus) On Tuesday night I could totally feel him turning and I was hoping he had turned head down, but nope. My OB says most babies will be turned head down by week 36 so he says not to worry about it until then. I just worry my little guy is going to run out of room either that or find it to be more comfortable in any position other then head down. I have an appt next Wed. will be getting my final blood draw this pregnancy woo hoo to check if I'm anemic. After the one I go in weekly to get checked and see if I'm dilating at all. We're almost in the home stretch!

3/D Ultrasound

Had our 3/D ultrasound today it was fun being able to get another glimpse of our little guy. His umbilical cord kept getting in the way of his little face but we were still able to get some good shots. Ian has chubby cheeks just like his sister did. Can't believe in 6 weeks he'll be in my arms! Enjoy the photos!
