Snow photos

Just wanted to share a few random photos of Liv in the snow on Sunday morning before we went grocery shopping. We got about 4" total Saturday/Sunday morning thankfully it's all melted. We're ready for the sunshine!

Will it ever end?!?

After work this afternoon I took an hour nap and woke up looked out the window and it was dumping snow! I can't express how much I hate the snow. I'm so sick of it I could scream! It's still snowing right now. Hopefully this will be the last of it. I'm ready for the sunshine and the heat darn it!

We've been trying to teach Liv her body parts. Last night my parents watched her for a few hours and she finally understands where her nose is located. You ask her where her nose is and she'll point to it then stick her finger of a nostril. I've been trying to teach her where her eyes are today but every time I point to mine she just laughs at me. She's beginning to talk a lot more. Now when we lay her down for bed and say night to her she copies us and says I love you and nite nite. It's a little gibberish but you can tell she's trying to say it. I'm bummed Matt went back to work tonight. He was on vacation this past week. Next vacation will be in August, right after Shea's wedding. At least it will be warm by then. I can't wait bring on the 80 degrees we're ready for it!

Day off

I had the day off today so we headed up to South Center. Nick took us out to lunch at the Cheese Cake Factory. I love that place especially the chocolate coconut cheesecake yum! After lunch we walked around South Center Mall. It's really nice now that they expanded it. They had a play area for kids so we let Livi run wild for about 30 mins. She loved it! When we went to put her in the stroller to leave she threw the biggest fit ever! She didn't want to leave.

I did it!

Well today I got my first tattoo! I never thought I'd get the courage to do it, but I did! My friend Arlene got it for me for my birthday. I honestly thought it was going to hurt a lot more then it did. I figured if I can have a baby I can get a tattoo. That way my thinking anyway. Our friend Nick flew in from Germany last night, he also got a tattoo with us. It's good to have him state side again. It's been over 2 years since we've seen him. We're very proud of him for everything he does for our Country! He'll be here a little shy of 2 weeks before heading back off to Afghanistan. Well enough rambling check out my tattoo!

Indulge

Alivia and I met up with a bunch of mom's and babies for a play date at Indulge in Puyallup. http://www.indulgecupcakes.com/ I've never been to Indulge before just read some articals about it in the paper I thought it was a cute cupcake/espresso shop. My mom is thinking about possibly ordering some cupcakes there for Shea's wedding to along with the wedding cake. Livi had a good time it seemed. She was getting into every ones things: diaper bags, toys, sippy cups and one gal had a little coach purse that matched Shea's so Alivia kept snagging it. She usually goes down for a nap around 11:30 or noon so about an hour into it she started falling apart so we got some cupcakes and coffee to go and headed home.

My friend, Nick and his wife should be here any day now. Not sure exactly when he's going to let me know when they leave Germany. For all I know he can be on his way now I haven't gotten a heads up yet. Oh well my house is almost in order for their arrival. Matt had Monday off so we dug everything out of everywhere in our house. All my closets and cabinets are organized. We got rid of so much random junk we didn't need or use. We're getting a new dinning room table and bar stools dropped off sometime today so that will be nice to have while they're here. We gave my parents our dinning room set when Livi was mobile. It was a glass top table and I didn't want her to some how pull it down on herself or something weird to happen. Plus thinking of all the finger prints it would have gotten seems like the right thing to get rid of it. Needless to say it will be nice to not eat dinner sitting on our couch. Well I'm off to work hope everyone has a great rest of your week!

Guitar Game Fest

Yesterday we headed up to a Toyota dealership in Tacoma. They were having a 3 day X box Guitar Hero tournament. 1st prize a flat screen TV, 2nd prize a laptop and 3rd prize a I-pod touch. Then you enter a drawing to win a grand prize of a Scion XB (which would look fabulous parked in my driveway) Matt was the highest score for Saturday then we headed up there again today because you had to be present at 5pm if you want to claim your prize if you placed top 3. Matt was able to play again and got almost 500k points. All I have to say is my husband kicks butt he won 1st place! GO MATT WOO HOO!!! So we have another flat screen TV. I really wanted the laptop but oh well he wasn't willing to trade for me. I'm so proud of him!

Busy Busy

I feel like it's been forever since i've updated, but it's only been since Monday. It's just been a busy week I guess. Tuesday was my dad's birthday. Shealun, Kyle and I decided to make my dad dinner and have a family evening. I bought dessert, chocolate banana cream pie from Costco. It was amazing I suggest buying one or two :) Shea did some appetizers and Kyle made an amazing dinner for everyone! I'm not sure exactly what he made but it was good. My friend, Nick and his wife will be coming in a few days so we've been deep cleaning and organizing the house. Still a lot to do but I have 2 days off before they get here. Livi and I went over to my co-worker, Emily's house this evening to watch Twilight and let the kids run wild. I got the hook up earlier this week Twilight on DVD and Blue Ray woo hoo one of my friends is letting me borrow them from her store. It doesn't come out until 3/21 so I feel special :) We did some other running around today but I'm not going to blog about that until tomorrow when I have all the info needed. All I have to say is my husband kicks butt he is awesome!
