Sorry I haven't updated much lately. Just trying to get back into the swing of things since last week was so busy. My aunt flew into town last Wednesday the same day Matt flew out of town. I had five days off so the kids and I were able to spend a lot of time with Linda and my folks. The weather was pretty nice as well. Then when the kids were napping or down for the night I'd be packing. How I wish I could just snap my fingers and all the packing would be done and my house would be spotless. I hate packing but am so thrilled to be moving in two weeks. Major photo over load since I haven't updated in a week.

Legendary Doughnuts
One of my clients told me about this new doughnut shop in Lakeland. He said it was better then Voodoo Doughnuts in Portland which I guess is amazing, I've never been there. The kids and I went out to lunch with my dad, aunt, Shea & Kyle to Puerto Vallarta. It was so good I haven't been there in a long time. After we went across the street to Legendary doughnuts. They had so many to choose from. Livi picked out a doughnut called "Tinker Bell' it was a round raised doughnut with hot pink frosting and glitter sprinkles all over. I got one called 'Albert Einstein' it was covered in chocolate and topped with coconut. Then I had to try their most popular doughnut the 'Oprah' a maple bar topped with crispy bacon bits. May sound gross but it was so yummy! I'm just glad this place wasn't open when I went through my crazy chocolate covered bacon stage when I was preggo with Ian. It's all I wanted for like 3 days.Thursday, August 5, 2010
Locked out
Well we had an interesting afternoon to say the least. Got the kiddos ready to meet some friends at the park and I locked us out of the house. I asked my friend, Rebecca if she'd like Livi's old convertible car seat for her daughter. She wanted it so I told her I'd bring it along. So I get the kids out on the front porch and I had the car seat sitting in the entry way since I was trying to sell it at the garage sale last weekend. I went to set the seat on the porch and clicked the bottom lock and shut the door. As soon as I shut the door I realized I left the keys on the staircase. Ugh... thankfully I had my cell with me. Matt's out of state this week so I couldn't call him for help. The real dumb part is he gave me his keys before he left and I had them in the diaper bag but took them out right before we left the house. My mom had the valet key to my car so I knew I could at least get that. While I was sitting there I remembered I gave them a house key also back when Livi was born so they could take care of the dog. My dad found the key and was able to come save the day! I lucked out there he's usually working in Ballard but he took the rest of the week off because my aunt is in town from Colorado. We pushed the park play date back an hour but we eventually made it. Of all the times for me to lock the keys somewhere it had to be when Matt was gone. Go figure :)
Chilling on the porch
5 months
Gidian is 5 months today! He is about 20-21 lbs now I tried to weigh him last night on the scale. He's always 'talking', grabbing his toes and rolling all over. A few times a week I've been giving him rice cereal. Gidian is wearing size 3 diapers and he's in 6-9 month size clothes. He liked to hold rattles and other baby toys in his hands and can take out and put his pacifier back in his mouth. Sleeping 8-10 hours straight at night and takes a few naps through out the day.

We're moving!
Labor day weekend we'll be moving to Buckley! I couldn't be more excited about it! We're actually moving just a few houses down from my parents :) It will be nice I'll be able to work more, we'll be closer to parks we're closer to town and can walk the trails. My parent's have a gym in their garage so we can start working out and getting fit. Plus we'll be saving $750/ month which is awesome! The house is a rambler 3 bedrooms 2 bath. On a 1/4 acer lot with lots of space for the kids to play. We live in a split level home now and it's such a pain going up and down the stairs all the time. Time to start getting the house packed up!
