Guitar Game Fest

Yesterday we headed up to a Toyota dealership in Tacoma. They were having a 3 day X box Guitar Hero tournament. 1st prize a flat screen TV, 2nd prize a laptop and 3rd prize a I-pod touch. Then you enter a drawing to win a grand prize of a Scion XB (which would look fabulous parked in my driveway) Matt was the highest score for Saturday then we headed up there again today because you had to be present at 5pm if you want to claim your prize if you placed top 3. Matt was able to play again and got almost 500k points. All I have to say is my husband kicks butt he won 1st place! GO MATT WOO HOO!!! So we have another flat screen TV. I really wanted the laptop but oh well he wasn't willing to trade for me. I'm so proud of him!

Busy Busy

I feel like it's been forever since i've updated, but it's only been since Monday. It's just been a busy week I guess. Tuesday was my dad's birthday. Shealun, Kyle and I decided to make my dad dinner and have a family evening. I bought dessert, chocolate banana cream pie from Costco. It was amazing I suggest buying one or two :) Shea did some appetizers and Kyle made an amazing dinner for everyone! I'm not sure exactly what he made but it was good. My friend, Nick and his wife will be coming in a few days so we've been deep cleaning and organizing the house. Still a lot to do but I have 2 days off before they get here. Livi and I went over to my co-worker, Emily's house this evening to watch Twilight and let the kids run wild. I got the hook up earlier this week Twilight on DVD and Blue Ray woo hoo one of my friends is letting me borrow them from her store. It doesn't come out until 3/21 so I feel special :) We did some other running around today but I'm not going to blog about that until tomorrow when I have all the info needed. All I have to say is my husband kicks butt he is awesome!

Bang trim

Last night I was debating whether or not to cut Livi's bangs. They were so long and so scraggly looking and constantly in her eyes. So I brought my shears home after work this evening and went for it. She was so good! Thank goodness I've had my share of ticked off kids in my chair before and I was hoping she wouldn't fall into that category. I gave her an extra comb to play with and she was happy as can be. I originally planned to give her a nice side swoop bang (like mine) but she moved her head when I went to side down and it caused me to cut straight across so she had short bangs now which makes her baby mullet really look like a mullet now. Ohh well the difference between a good cut and a bad is 2 weeks. She'll be looking good soon. I'm just glad they are out of her eye. Matt took a bunch of photos for me and please don't mind my messy house in the background.

On an annoying note we were "blessed" with more snow today. Well snow, sunshine, snow, hail and more snow. What the heck I'm sick of it! Bring on the sunshine! Before the cut

Trip to the park

It was so sunny yesterday so Matt and I decided we should go take Alivia down to our favorite park in Sumner. It was 50 degrees so pretty chilly but Livi had a blast! She was running everywhere she loved all the kids that were running wild! Once it warms up I plan on going down there daily and going on a walk in the morning with Livi to get some exercise then hopefully get a jogging stroller and start jogging with her. I can't wait for it to be nice I'm so sick of the cold weather. It snowed on Wednesday and it's going to tonight from what I've heard from many people. Is Spring here yet?

I sent 5 or 6 to my e-mail account and copied them so I could post them on here to share with you. 2 are from the day she was born, 2 from when she was in the NICU Nov. 12-Nov 15th 2007 (aka the worst 4 days of my life) then a few others including my recent favorite her in her sunglasses while we were out shopping last Sunday. Growing up so fast

I'm so blown away on how much Livi is learning lately! She is starting to talk a bunch now. She started saying: cool, up please, what's this, that's pretty as well as everything else she says. Toyota has a new commercial out right now about their new cross over vehicle the Venza (which I want hehe) and no matter what Livi is doing when that commercial comes on and the music begins she busts out in a dance. It is hilarious! Alivia is all about the sunglasses lately. We got her 2 new pairs at Target last week. I took her shopping on Sunday and the whole time we were in the car and store she kept them on. Didn't want to take them off.
