Thursday morning we decided to walk down to the tide pools out at Haystack Rock
. That day the tide was the lowest it had been all year. As soon as we got there Gidian grabbed a starfish and yanked it out of the water. Livi enjoyed touching anything she could and splashing through the pools. She even found a whole sand dollar while we were out there and took it back with us.
While the kids napped that afternoon I drove up to Seaside with Amanda, Justin we were on the search for a Christmas ornament with Haystack Rock on it. Shea, Roger and Jessica met us there and we spent time walking around the board walk and peeking in all the shops. Unfortunately we didn't find one. On the way home we drove South to pick up some more fire wood for another bonfire.
The bonfire was a blast. I don't think I have ever drank so much in my life. Livi stayed out at the fire until almost midnight and she still didn't want to go in. It was a great way to end our last night at the beach.
