Easter

Happy Easter everyone! Hope you all had a blessed day. It was a beautiful day in our neck of the woods. Sunshine and 70. Only down fall was it was insanely windy, but that didn't keep us from spending a good part of the day outside.

Once the kids woke up they found their Easter baskets. Both were very excited about their new goodies. We got ready and went to my parents for breakfast. When the dishes were being done I ran home and put the Easter eggs in the yard for the kids to do an egg hunt. They had a ball grabbing all the eggs and eating the candy. My brother's girlfriend, and her 3 year old daughter were over as well. The rest of they days was spent napping (me and Gidian for 2 1/2 hours), playing with side walk chalk, blowing bubbles, chasing all my parent's dogs. We ended the evening at my parent's for dinner. For my dad's 50th last month we got him a Big Green Egg Barbecue. So we made all sorts of homemade pizzas and cooked them in it. They were so yummy. Hope your day was as wonderful as ours!
