Growing up so fast

I'm so blown away on how much Livi is learning lately! She is starting to talk a bunch now. She started saying: cool, up please, what's this, that's pretty as well as everything else she says. Toyota has a new commercial out right now about their new cross over vehicle the Venza (which I want hehe) and no matter what Livi is doing when that commercial comes on and the music begins she busts out in a dance. It is hilarious! Alivia is all about the sunglasses lately. We got her 2 new pairs at Target last week. I took her shopping on Sunday and the whole time we were in the car and store she kept them on. Didn't want to take them off.

36 hours in Oregon

I survived being away from Alivia! It was a lot easier then I thought it was going to be. We got back from Oregon a few hours ago. We had a great time. Matt and I left yesterday morning around 8am after dropping Livi and Lexi off with my parents. We stopped at the Carver Cafe for lunch then went to Multnomah falls. It was amazing, so beautiful. We plan on going back this summer so we can bring Livi. They had a bridge you could hike up to that crossed over the falls. We stayed the night up at the View Point Inn. We got a room upgrade for free so that was a cool surprise. It was nice getting away just us. Here's some photos enjoy!

24 years old

Today is my 24th birthday! I'm starting to feel old! I know I'm not but I feel like I'm getting up there :) I had a pretty low key day. Went into work for 3 hours, did some shopping with the family then went out to dinner with my parent's and my friend Veronica and her boyfriend showed up as well. It was a nice day. Matt and I are leaving for Oregon in the morning. I've been anticipating this trip for over a month and now I'm kind of sad. I really don't want to leave my baby girl tomorrow. We'll only be gone until Friday night so it's not that big of a deal but it just worries me you never know what can happen. I know she'll have fun with my parent and Matt and I will have a great time. It just feels weird to me. Well I need to finish packing. Have a great rest of your week!

Bed head

Check out her bed head! It's everywhere We've had a busy week! Matt started his first vacation of the year on Wednesday and he doesn't go back to work until next Saturday or Sunday. Livi and Matt are feeling a lot better but I still feel like dirt I even went to the doctors on Thursday and I have an ear infection so lame. At least we got sick this week and not next week when we head out of town. We ran all over the place yesterday doing errands and had lunch at the Cheesecake Factory. It would have been good if I could have tasted it. (Note to self don't go out to a awesome lunch if you're all stuffed up. It's not worth the money spent) I sold my Nintendo Wii system last week, my Wii fit and all my games. I bought it in August used it for about 2 weeks and never touched it again. So with the money I sold it for I ordered a new camera lens it should be here on Tuesday. I wanted it before we go down to Oregon. I worked for a while today but went home early and took a 3 1/2 hour nap. This evening we spent deep cleaning the house and Matt's friend came over to help set up Matt's 'Man Cave' in our down stairs family room. He got a few wall mounts to put his guitars on display it looks pretty cool I'll have to take a photo someday and post it so you can check it out. Next goal is to tackle our office. Convert it into a guest room. My good friend Nick and his wife are coming back to WA from Germany in 4 weeks and will be spending 2 weeks with us. I haven't seen him in 2 years so it will be nice to catch up again. Well I'm feeling pretty crummy so I'm heading off to bed. Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

Payton Grace

Our good friend's, Katie & Isaiah are expecting their first baby in June. I ask that you would please keep baby girl Payton Grace in your thoughts and prayers. She has increased swelling in her brain and the part of her brain that is used for balance and coordination is missing.

I know God can work miracles in this precious little girls life. I have living proof in my sweet Alivia. I didn't have this blog going while I was pregnant and some of you might not know the news we got at our 20 week ultrasound. We were told Livi was going to have a clubbed left foot. I have photo proof of her twisted little foot. She had a few cysts in her brain and with both of those Dr. Michaelson told me she could be at a risk for downs syndrome. I do believe that God healed my baby girl and I know he can do the same for Payton. I remember one of the first things I asked when Livi was born and they took her to the warmer. I asked how her foot was and the nurse told me it was perfectly normal. I still remember that feeling of relief that came over me when I heard that she was perfect!

Pigtails and dress up

Alivia's hair is long enough for little pigtails now! I'm so ecstatic about it! She's finally getting over her cold, but now daddy and I have it. Matt starts vacation tomorrow for 10 days. We have a lot of things around the house we plan to get done then we leave next Thursday for our little get away.
This evening I was going through all of Livi's old baby stuff, boxing it up for our friend's who just found out they're having a baby girl. I found a hat Livi never wore and a pair of baby sunglasses I put them on her and she didn't want to take them off. It was so funny enjoy the photos.Cute pigtails!

My little sick-o

Livi has had a pretty bad cold since Thursday. Poor girl I feel so bad she is miserable! Tonight she seemed like she's on the mend was acting more like her crazy self. Now that she figured out how to get on the couch that's the only place she wants to be. I hope everyone had a great weekend and a good V-day. I want to end this entry with a few pictures of my little sick-o from earlier today. Hopefully tomorrow she'll feel better.
