One more day

Tomorrow my baby girl is going to be one! It blows my mind. I was up in South Hill yesterday afternoon and I passed my OB's office and the hospital Livi was born at. It doesn't feel like it's been a year. It seems like yesterday. We had another birthday party for her tonight with Matt's family. It was nice seeing everyone thank you to everyone who showed up!
Also I have some pretty neat news Alivia is going to be a flower girl! My sister Shealun got engaged this afternoon YAY! The wedding wont be for a year and a half but i'm still stoked about it! Playing on her new bounce and spin pony

Sick, teething baby

So i've come to a conclusion that there is nothing worst then a sick and teething baby. Last night was the longest night of my life! Livi was fine until about 11 pm then she woke up screaming. I noticed before she went to bed last night she has another bottom tooth coming in. At midnight her nose started running and she started coughing. I got her to bed again around 1 am but that was short lived she woke up half hour later screaming again then wouldn't go back to sleep until after 5am. I feel so bad for her because she doesn't understand what's going on. Poor baby just wants to be able to breath through her nose and she can't. Today she was crabby all day had a slight fever this morning but it went down. She took a few short naps while I was at work. I had a humidifier going in her room tonight and it seems to be helping her out a little bit. I really hope Alivia starts feeling better in time for her birthday this weekend it would be a bummer if she was miserable. Plus I hate seeing her so sick. Her nose is all red as well as her face, she just looks tired and worn out. Let's hope we both get a good night of sleep.

Election 2008

This was the first Presidential election of Alivia's life. It's amazing that her first election coincide with such an historic event. I'm glad she was awake when they announced Barack had won the election. I had to snap a few photos of her during his speech.
YAY Barack Obama!

Party time

We had the first of two birthday parties for Alivia this afternoon. We had a great turn out it was good to catch up with everyone again. I made her "smash" cake it took 2 attempts but it finally came together. It looked like a monkey head. She got cake everywhere! We wanted to thank everyone who came to celebrate with us. Livi says thanks for all the great gifts! Here's tons of photos enjoy!

Only 2 more weeks

I can't believe it in two short weeks we'll have a one year old! It amazes me how fast this year has gone. In a way it makes me sad, my baby is growing up. Last night she woke up in the middle of the night, for the first time in I don't know how long. I picked her up out of her crib and she snuggled up on me. It melt my heart. Cuddling is the last thing she wants to do anymore. I didn't want to put her back in her crib after she went back to sleep. I just wanted to hold her all night. I couldn't though I needed a little bit of sleep. I woke up early and had 2 photo sessions and let me tell you it was freezing at 10 am brrr! I had a great time and got some awesome photos. I took some of Matt's, bestfriend Brandon and his wife. I also took some photos for my co-worker Terese and her family. I took photos yesterday afternoon for Trina, she did our family photos last week. Needless to say I had a pretty busy weekend.
Alivia is walking all over the place now. Just in the last 2 days she really got it down. It's so funny watching her catch her balance when she almost falls over. I've been in birthday planning mode a lot this past week. We have the first of her two birthday parties next Sunday then the following one on Nov. 8th. Matt will be gone for most the day on her actual birthday so i'll have to come up with something fun her and I can go do together. Well I better get to bed I have lots of errands to do in the morning. Passed out in her carseat after a long day

Girls are so fun!

My mom and I went shopping this morning and I came across a pink and black pettiskirt. I've been wanting to get Alivia one for a while now but I could never bring myself to buy one since they are about $80 everywhere I look. Today I happend to glance over at the little girl section and they had a ton in all sorts of colors for $20. Score! When we got home I put her in it and she loved it. She kept playing with all the frills it was adorable. It's alittle big but she'll eventually grow into it. Here's a few photos I had to share since she's so cute!
Toys everywhere!
